This
is my dog, the late Chesapeake. She's a Bernese Mountain Dog, one of the best
breeds in the world. She never really learned to fetch too well, but had me
trained to throw and retrieve things for her amusement.
Here's
my dad giving me some fatherly advice. I'm probably just pretending not
to take him seriously. My pops is a professor at the University of Kansas Med
School. He does research related to eyes. Right now he's writing a paper about
why older folks dislike those new arclamp headlights. I think he's just writing
it because he hates them so much.
My
mom and me at my graduation ceremony (the degree box is empty; it should be
full soon). Interestingly, my mom works at Accenture (the former Andersen Consulting),
though it's one of the top employers of recent NU grads.
